Rich D, born Banji Richard Owoyinka, is an accomplished performing artist, singer, and actor with a unique and inspiring journey of music and entertainment. Hailing from Nigeria, Rich D broke barriers as the first African artist to sing in the Kazakh language, capturing the hearts of listeners with his debut hit song, “Almaty,” released in 2013. Signed under NDG, a record label in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Rich D spent 10 years transformative years making his mark in the Kazakh show business, performing at prestigious venues and events while contributing to the music industry’s growth.
With over 15 years of experience in music and 10 years as a performing artist, Rich D has built a reputation for delivering captivating performances and collaborating with diverse artists. His voice, charisma, and ability to connect with audiences have consistently uplifted and inspired people worldwide. Beyond his performances, Rich D has nurtured the next generation of talent, working as a music teacher and vocal training assistant, helping teenagers and aspiring artists perfect their craft.
